When I saw the Simple Stories I AM collection revealed at the CHA 2015 trade show in January, my immediate reaction was "I need this collection now!". My daughter's 30th birthday was the week after the trade show and I was surprising her with a special birthday album of layouts created from friends and family members who shared special stories and birthday wishes. The I AM collection was the perfect finishing touch for a layout at the beginning of the album. You can imagine my excitement when Jodi from Simple Stories gave me papers from this collection in a treat bag.
I didn't have any of the other goodies from this collection (ephemera, stickers, SNAP cards) but was thrilled to receive papers to use for a quick layout for my daughter's surprise birthday album.
I made an 8 x 10 photo collage using the Picasa program and cut out the center photo using an xacto knife. The "I am" tag, banner, hearts and word phrases were all hand cut out from one of the 12 x 12 element sheets. I added a few additional element dots, resin sticker buttons and the number 30 from my personal stash. It made for a quick and cute introductory page to my daughter's 30th birthday album.
The awesome news to share...The I AM collection arrived today and is now available to purchase for all your creative endeavors!
